Breanna SmithCoe, LMSW

Therapy is meant to be a transformative experience and Breanna strives to ensure that every client feels safe, valued and accepted in the therapy space.
Breanna is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for individuals exploring mental health challenges and personal growth. Breanna believes that the client is the true agent of change and recognizes it as an honor to guide clients in utilizing their own innate ability to self-heal. Breanna uses therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy tailored to the client’s individual needs and preferences. Influenced by behavioral theory, humanistic theory, and attachment theory, she values a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective when collaborating with clients.
Breanna offers non-judgmental care, making her space inclusive and inviting for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals.
With children, Breanna provides an opportunity for learning valuable skills and processing the world around them, as she believes that children have a natural capacity to heal and that this is done through relationships and play. Play in therapy has been shown to be very valuable for children experiencing many different issues. She enjoys partnering with parents to create a treatment plan specific to each child and their unique situations.
Breanna sees clients 5 years old and up with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, chronic illness/pain, health anxiety and difficult life transitions. When you are ready to begin this sometimes challenging yet rewarding journey, I would be honored to be a witness to your achievements!
