Madisen Smith, M.A. LMHC, She/Her

When you begin your therapeutic journey with me, my hope and goal is for you to feel cared for, understood, and empowered. I hold value in the relationships I get to build and in providing a safe space for each person I get to work with. I regularly bring curiosity, excitement, empathy and humor into my sessions, allowing therapy to be a productive, warm, and playful space for you to challenge yourself.
I currently work with adolescents 14+ and adults with various concerns including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, identity exploration, suicidal ideation, and other growing pains we experience in life. I also have loved working with neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and autism. My approach to healing is person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and friendly to the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community. I regularly utilize systems theory, attachment theory, and draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and narrative frameworks. I love to use mindfulness, visualization, and creative outlets to foster a reflective environment.
I would love to learn more about your needs and desires for therapy, and am open to connecting to explore if I’m the right fit for you.
