Karisa is an Independently Licensed Social worker that provides counseling to older adolescents and adults. She specializes in anxiety and depressive disorders, life transitions, and grief and loss. Karisa's clinical focus includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and she brings a strength-based approach to her work with clients. Karisa is dedicated to meeting clients where they are and encouraging empowerment and hope.

Karisa possesses a professional history of habilitation work and a background in graphic design with a Certificate in Art Therapy. Such a history uniquely positions her to work with a wide variety of people needing support through a clinically grounded and yet creative approach to their mental health goals.
