Lorraine is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who provides mental health care to all ages. She partners with you to improve mental health using a holistic approach which includes assessment, psychoeducation, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and treatment options to improve symptomology of mental illness and promote self-efficacy.
Lorraine brings over 20 years of nursing to the practice and is committed to serving her clients with compassion and building rapport in a nonjudgmental environment. She strives to improve the lives of others by actively listening, being supportive, and using her strong clinical skills combined with evidence-based guidelines to assess, diagnosis, plan, and treat a broad-spectrum of mental health illnesses. She provides education, treatment options, and develops mutual treatment goals.
Lorraine prescribes medications with be belief that one can achieve greatest efficacy when paired with therapy, thus her desire to work within a therapy practice that places high regard on collaboration to achieve change. She is currently accepting clients of all ages over the lifespan, children 6 years of age through older adults. Lorraine works alongside her clients to improve the symptomology of depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, and schizophrenia. In addition, she works with clients to achieve optimal outcomes with conduct disorders, eating disorders, substance-related disorders, neurocognitive disorders, crisis prevention, and personality disorders.
