Lindsay Cook, LISW

Loss, trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, or issues related to adoption, foster care or abuse can leave your child (and you) feeling lost, hopeless, confused, and hurting and Lindsay believes you don’t have to figure it out alone. She is here to listen to your concerns, build a connection with your child and family, and work together to process life’s challenges, losses, and changes in a kid-friendly, safe, and accepting environment.
Lindsay specializes in working with children ages 3 to 13 and their parents or caretakers. She is trained in EMDR and uses play based therapy to help kids express themselves in a way that works best for their age and development. She is passionate about supporting children and families impacted by trauma, adoption, DHS involvement, attachment concerns, anxiety, grief, and more. Lindsay is here to walk alongside you and your child with compassion and care as you navigate life’s twists and turns.
